Need a song for a musical tryout....?

I'm auditioning for the school musical, "once upon a mattress", and I don't know what song to sing because I found out that the director hates High School Musical. I was going to do "Gone" by Kelly Clarkson but he probly wouldn't like her either. Any suggestions are helpful, I'll look them all up. I have a fairly low voice and need one thats not too hard to sing.
