Sirius Radio question (Can I Scan songs before selecting them?)?

Is there any way to scan actually song titles (like you would channels on cable) before committing to them. With Sirius it seems the minute I scan, I lose my song. I would like to see what is on before selecting it. I know that I can scan by GROUP using the side arrows but even then I am only scanning categories and not actual song selections. If there is no way, does XM allow this operation?
