Will potential girlfriends be turned off by the fact that I just had an infected finger amputated today?

I'm eighteen years old, and last week I was told by doctors that my left-ring finger had to be amputated at the first joint up from the knuckle, since the finger had turned purple and gone numb, so to stop things going further, having the finger chopped off was the only option:-( I had the surgery to have my finger chopped off this morning, and whilst I recovered from the anaesthesia and am home now, the pain is pretty intenese - just like I expected, is it possible that potential girlfriends will be turned off by the fact I'm now missing a finger? Obviously whilst I have the bandage covering the stump whilst it heals, but when it has healed hopefully in next six weeks, and girls see my hand with four and 1/3 fingers, will that deter them from interest in me?
