On the TV show 7th Heaven,What happen to the Oldest son,Oldest daugther and the middle son.?

I recent watched 7th Heaven on The CW and almost everyone is new . The only kids left on there are Second to oldest daugther and the the baby daugther ,How did they write them out of the storyline ?
