I think it is ok to get one thing in exchange for another. If that doesn't work you can try the "babo fairy". He puts all of his babos in a basket when he goes to bed and a fairy is going to come to give them to other babies in the world because big boys dont need them, only babies do and a little baby needs his help to get one and in exchange for being such a good boy and helping the baby the fairy will leave him a present in his basket. If he ever asks about it again a little baby who needs it more than him has it.
