How do you handle a crush that just wont go awayI?

I've been infatuated with this girl since the first time I saw her, the story is simple, I was to shy to ever talk to her, and before I could do anything she moved far away to possibly start a family with another guy.... she was reading books on parenting... anyway I just can't get over her! how can I forget about her? this crush just won't go away?
